Pick a side!

I want to share my thoughts today. I hope this will bless someone.

I was saved at the age of 15, I had no idea what was in store. As an adult, I am more than happy that I made the decision to receive Jesus Christ into my life.

I wish I could say that I kept Jesus as my 1st love  The whole time but I can't. At times I would love the world more than I loved God. I believe this is a battle all Christians go through.

I had to realize what the Bible tells us that the world is in rebellion against God. To be a friend of the world is to be an enemy of God.

I desire to make my life count for the Kingdom of heaven. I discovered real quick that you can not live in both kingdoms, you truly have to pick aside.

The Kingdom of heaven and this world are at war with each other. The sooner we understand this the better off you will be.

I still see young or untouchable Christians try to remain friends with this world system. As far as I am concerned we are here to take ground away from the Kingdom of darkness.

Think about the message in the music of today. Just take one of the lyrics of any song and study it. Satan is our Mortal enemy and he wants to drag every soul he can to the pits of hell. How can I agree with that ?  just think of your children and your family members burning in a fire for all eternity.

All because we want to be friends with the world.  Beloved, we do not need the world system to do work for God's Kingdom. It's time to stop playing both sides, it’s time to pick one.

1 John 2:15-17

King James Version

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.
