As Believers in Jesus Christ, we need to make sure we are living the lifestyle we are instructed to according to the word of God.

Most people make up a Jesus in their own mind who will tolerate sin and allow them to indulge their flesh without being corrected.

This is not the Jesus of the Bible, the Jesus of the Bible warns us against living a life of sin and that certain destruction would follow if we ignore the warnings.

Just because you know the Bible and you can quote a few scriptures does not mean you are right with God. We need to examine ourselves and make sure we are serving the Jesus of the Bible and not some imaginary Jesus we made up in our own minds.

I can tell you from experience  I went through this. I would sin ask for forgiveness just to go back out in sin again.

This was a cycle I was on, the enemy set me up it wasn't until Jesus set me free with the power of His word & The Holy Spirit  I was able to defeat this besetting sin.
