Last year, Jon Keith dropped his music video for “Won’t Fly (Jesus at My Door)”. It was pure cinema. Jon acts out an entire scene at the beginning, and the layers of this song come to life.
Fast forward a little less than a year, and he drops an easter egg in his music video “New Me” with DaniLeigh. I almost felt like there had to be a through line or something because Jon is giving us characters with names, including himself playing Tevin. In the video, Jon’s character is dancing but keeps seeing a hazy version of himself in the corner. I have so many questions!
Then quietly, last Friday, just before the weekend, when everyone was watching soccer and doing what they do – Jon shares a story or two talking about what he and his friend Noah have been working on for the last three years: A MOVIE.
He talks about how Grow Wings, And Fly (dropping this year) is just a small glimpse inside the world of this movie they want to create.
He also shared a link with details on the new album as well as a little snippet of the script and a link to the GoFundMe to give the project wings (pun very intended).

Grow Wings is an important album to me and others, and I’m so excited for And Fly. PLUS, this is all just a zoomed-in part of a larger picture?! I need to see that picture! Don’t you?
In true indie spirit, let’s run this up for Jon!
Help Bring GROW WINGS to the Screen
For the last few years, I’ve been writing a feature film called GROW WINGS. It’s one of the most personal things I’ve ever created, and I genuinely believe this story can meet people where they are and leave them with hope.
I also believe the world needs more beautiful, honest art made by Christians—stories that don’t ignore the weight of real life, but step into it with hope. That’s the kind of film we’re trying to make.
Before we can make the full feature, we need to film a proof of concept—a short film that captures the heart, world, and visual language of what GROW WINGS can become. This is the piece we’ll use to put in front of producers, investors, and studios as we work to get the full film made.
Our goal is to raise $40,000 to make that happen.
Every dollar goes directly into telling this story further and making this film with excellence—bringing together an incredible cast and crew, securing locations, production design, wardrobe, camera, lighting, post-production, music, and everything else it takes to create something we’re proud to stand behind.
If you’ve ever been impacted by my music, encouraged by something I’ve made, or simply believe more stories rooted in hope deserve to exist, I’d love to invite you to be part of this.
Whether you’re able to give or simply share this campaign with someone else, thank you. Seriously. Every bit of support helps move this story one step closer to becoming a reality.
I can’t wait for you to see what we’re making.
