Proverbs 13:20

Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.

(Show me your friends and I'll show you your future, as bad company corrupts good character.

Everyone you know does not deserve a "front-row" seat in your life. Get close to people who you can look up to spiritually because wisdom is never a characteristic of fools.)
