Psalms 119: 147-148

I rise before the dawning of the morning, And cry for help; I hope in Your word. My eyes are awake through the night watches, that I may meditate on Your word.

(Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night & wonder why you can't fall back asleep right away? I believe this is the Lord imploring us to pray to Him and meditate on His word. In the daytime, we can be so busy that God needs to interrupt our sleep so we can have some uninterrupted time with Him.

Meditation should be a part of every believer's life so we can draw closer to our King. Seeking God early in the morning is how we should start each day. The closer we get to God, the more of Him we get to experience; because Intimacy with us is what the Lord is after, as He draws close to those who draw close to Him.)
