Scripture:
“The Lord will fight for you while you [only need to] keep silent and remain
calm.”” Exodus 14:14 AMP

Message:
Have you ever complained about not hearing from God? How many times have
you been upset with God because He didn’t give an immediate answer to your
prayer? Here’s another question:

How much time do you spend scrolling on
social media? How much texting do you do with friends discussing matters that
you went to the Lord about already, hoping to get an answer? This contributes
to the overload and mental clutter that doesn’t allow you to be still and hear
from GOD.

I remember as a child being full of so much energy that I would often
hear, “Sit down!” or “Be still!” In this day and age, we need to be reminded that
there are times when we need to silence any and everything, be still, and wait to
hear from GOD.

This can be hard for many that are experiencing situations that
are really testing and challenging you. I’m talking about those moments when
the enemy uses people to get you to completely blackout, lose your salvation,
and snap.

This is not the time to give anyone a piece of your mind…this is a
“Peace be Still” moment. Let the Lord fight this battle for you. Just stay silent
and remain calm. He’s got you covered.

Prayer:
Lord help me to disconnect from social media overload. Strengthen me to
remain still and let you fight for me. Remove all the attention grabbers and
contributors to my mental clutter. Teach me the stillness that will produce a
peace that I have never known.

What distractions in your daily life might be preventing you from being still long enough to hear God clearly?

When you face situations that frustrate or provoke you, how can you practice remaining calm and allowing God to handle the outcome instead of reacting immediately?
