Acclaimed producer and composer Tommee Profitt joined Rapzilla on the red carpet at the 2026 GMA Dove Awards. Profitt shared career updates, opened up about his production work, and went on an enthusiastic rant about gas station treats.
Profitt revealed his passion for snacking during long production runs.
“When I walk into a gas station, my eyes just immediately see everything,” Profitt admitted. “I especially see all of the new flavors, like the limited-edition stuff…Butterfinger Salted Caramel is crazy, y’all need to try that. I’m a gas station snack junkie, unashamedly.”
Production Reflection and Arena Ambitions
Looking back across his vast production catalog, Profitt poked fun at his early catalog work with frequent collaborator NF. He cited their early single “Turn The Music Up” as the worst song in his catalog.
“He’d agree.”
He highlighted “Noel” from his Christmas project as his favorite personal release.
Profitt also named playing live at Nissan Stadium as a major goal he still wants to achieve.
Expanding the Holiday Franchise
Profitt remains focused on bringing cinematic live music experiences to major venues. He announced a two-night run for his popular Christmas production, The Birth of a King, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena this December. He also detailed plans to launch a new Easter orchestral spectacle at the iconic Grand Ole Opry in March.
“I kind of am just doing these big orchestra shows at all the holidays now,” Profitt said. “That’s kind of becoming my thing, and I love it. I’m so excited and thankful.”
