Chris Elijah stopped by the Fresh Leftovers Radio Show to talk with Legacy the Prince, Queen Lee and DJ B4 Y about Act of God 3, the third album in a series he has released every year since 2024.

The eight-track project tells the story of “the new me.” Chris described how his divorce five years ago dismantled his effort to be the perfect “super Christian.” Alone with God, he learned that God wasn’t asking for perfection. God wanted him. That freedom, he says, is why he’s now releasing music so consistently.

His favorite track right now is the outro, “End of Time,” a prayer for God to have His way. The album also features J. Lynn, Eric Pitts, F4 Chew and Barabbas. Their collaboration, “His Hands,” almost didn’t make the cut. Chris’s wife pushed him to play it at a listening session, and Chew recorded his verse while his Uber was on the way.

The conversation also turned to unity in Christian hip-hop. The hosts called on the men to stop competing for “the spot” and to start lifting up the women in the genre.
