Author, speaker, and artist Jackie Hill Perry hit the red carpet at the 2026 Dove Awards. Perry opened up about everything from her pet peeves to her top three in Christian hip-hop.

“Blameless Deluxe is coming out November 13th,” Perry shared as far as news goes. “Potential tour is coming up.”

Looking Ahead and Honoring the Culture

When discussing her top three in Christian rap, Perry shouted out Odd Thomas, Eshon Burgundy, and KB, while also naming Richard Smallwood’s timeless classic “Total Praise” as the greatest song of all time.

Looking toward long-term goals outside of music, Perry expressed a desire to expand her literary footprint into biblical scholarship.

“I think when I get older, I would love to create a Bible commentary resource because they’re usually dominated by men of a certain color,” Perry explained. “And so I just would love to do that.”
