West Coast hip-hop artist Miles Minnick joined Rapzilla at the Dove Awards red carpet to discuss his latest career milestones, upcoming projects, and CHH roots.

Minnick proudly acknowledged his beginnings with the platform that helped launch his path.

“Everybody know me as an XXL Freshman, but I was first a Rapzilla Freshmen in the year of 2020 right before that pandemic,” Minnick shared.

Minnick also admitted that Lecrae, Bizzle, and T-Bone were his top three Christian rap artists of all time.

Entering Christlike University

The artist shifted focus toward his major upcoming rollout, anchored by his brand-new full-length album. The concept extends far beyond a standard release.

“Welcome to Christlike University, gang!” Minnick proclaimed. “It’s a real deal. Not only is it my second full-length album, but we’re actually putting together the University. Shout out Azusa Pacific for hosting us for that joint.”

Thousands of applicants line up for admission slots as the tuition link prepares to drop. Alongside the academic-themed rollout, Minnick sets his sights on a massive live showcase in Los Angeles.

“Also, can’t wait for Glovember! Glovember in LA at The Belasco,” Minnick noted. “It’s an actual theater. We’re going to pack that thing out all the way. 1,300 people!”

Gaming, Legends, and All-Time Greats

When asked about something he could nerd out on, Minnick offered a rant about a classic PlayStation title.

“Kingdom Hearts will have you on a deep dive in the rabbit hole to figure out the lore of everything, bro,” Minnick explained. “You’re going to Disney World fighting demons, bro! You’re fighting darkness in Disney World.”
