Everywhere Brea Miles goes, she hears some version of the same thing: tone it down. Dim your light. Don’t wear that, don’t do your hair like that — because someone else isn’t comfortable. Her answer? That insecurity was never hers to carry.

On this episode of the Fresh Leftover Radio Show, hosts Legacy the Prince, Queen Lee, and DJ B4EY welcome the independent Christian artist back after a long time away — and she holds nothing back.

In this episode, Brea opens up about:

• Walking through the loss of her brother from Gospel Gangsters Rare Breed, and ten family members in a year and a half
• Why she refuses to let people shrink her to make room for their own insecurity
• Her take on the online feuds in the space — and how badly they make Christians look to a watching world
• Coming to Christ out of gang culture, and the pastor who showed her faith didn’t have to be “whack”
• Why she never needed a record label’s stamp of approval to fill a 40,000-person festival
• The heart behind her new single “The Light” and her raw new book, Validated

It’s an honest, encouraging conversation about identity, grief, and refusing to let anyone — or anything — turn your light down.
