Co Campbell was raised by a single mom and a woman pastor, with no father figure in sight. When he went searching for someone to guide him into manhood, every door came up empty — as he puts it, everyone he reached for had a different agenda. So he had to become what he never saw.

On this episode of WhatItIzWhatItBeezLike?!, King Cyz sits down with the CHH artist and producer for a deeply honest conversation about growing up in the Bronx, getting labeled as a kid before he even knew himself, and figuring out manhood, faith, and identity with no blueprint.

In this episode, Co opens up about:

• Confessing his struggle at the altar as a young worship leader — and getting no help
• Why he says he “had to be what he didn’t see,” and how that shaped his ministry
• The labels grown folks put on him as a child, and the damage that does
• Meeting Chris Morgan — the big brother who finally poured into him
• How he now disciples the next generation coming up behind him
• The story behind his album Western Cinema

This one’s for anyone who ever needed someone to show them the way and had to find it on their own.
