Dallas/Fort Worth Christian rap artists, VerbPro 12:4 and JWOODZ have joined forces on a new exhilarating paean, “KING.” This thrilling, albeit, forthright track is sure to captivate audiences wherever it’s heard, and have listeners around the world triumphantly shouting and proclaiming that, “Yo king, ain’t got nothing on my King!”
These two artists have previously collaborated on a touching, uplifting track, bringing lucidity and comfort to the hearer, entitled, “Clarity.” This time around, VerbPro 12:4 and JWOODZ are giving us an anthem-style song, filled with witty, quotable lyrics that puts the devil and his cohorts on notice that Jesus is our King, and their is no king like Him, besides Him, with Him, or above Him. With lyrics like, “Only one on the throne, that’s His. Talk bad, and I’m throwing a fit, all praise to Elohim that’s real,” JWOODZ conveys an indisputable Biblical truth, and his heart concerning our Savior and King. Opposite VerbPro 12:4, publicizing taunting, clever lines towards satan and his minions, with lyrics like, “You serious, you trying to go to war? You then bowed your knee already and you gonna bow some more! While your surreptitious tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, got His foot upon your neck, what you king of? The floor?!” This release echoes the sentiment held by believers around the world, that Jesus Christ reigns supreme, and is Lord, Ruler, Master, and King over ALL. In the artists’ own words, “We want believers proclaiming what our God said is true in His Word. We want Christians professing openly that Jesus is the one, true KING.”
Set to drop, Friday October 2nd, the high energy banger, “King” will be a crowd pleaser for sure, with the music video shortly to follow. This song has something for every listener. Whether you find yourself chanting the infectious hook, dancing to the 808 heavy beat, or repeating the quick-witted lyrics in their verses, these artists are set launch an anthem for Christians to replay well into the future of Christian rap music.
