M.I.A. is stepping into a new chapter. The genre‑bending icon has announced M.I.7, her seventh studio album, dropping April 17 through her independent label OHMNI Music. The project arrives with a new single, “EVERYTHING,” out now.

The album centers on a tight concept: seven songs created in seven places over seven days. She recorded in Ethiopia, Egypt, India, London, Australia, and Los Angeles. Sunday Service appears on the project, as well.

M.I.A. calls M.I.7 her “gospel album,” not in sound but in intention. The record digs into her relationship with Christianity and the tension between faith, culture, and the world around her. It’s stripped of politics and driven by devotion, urgency, and a sense of finality. Biblical references run throughout, paired with the sharp production and vocal edge she’s carried for two decades.

The release also syncs with the second drop of OHMNI, her clothing line built around protective fabrics and digital‑age autonomy. She explains the vision behind the new collection:

Tour

M.I.A. will also hit the road this spring, joining Kid Cudi on his Rebel Ragers North American tour from April 28 through June 27, including a stop at Madison Square Garden.
