This year’s Back-to-School event with Fresh Wind Community Church, His Hop Nation, and our amazing community partners was a tremendous success!
The Blessing:
1,000+ backpacks handed out
Free haircuts & hairstyles provided by local barbers and beauticians
Support from Metro Police Department, Buffalo Wild Wings, AT&T, and other community organizations
The Message:
Led by Mrs. His Hop and our daughter Armani, our focus was to speak truth to our youth:
"You Matter. You are loved by God. Don’t believe the lie that you’re better off not here—God has a plan and purpose for your life."
Attendees painted their personal stories, many sharing testimonies of overcoming struggles—including thoughts of suicide—through the power of Jesus Christ. These paintings will be displayed in local community facilities. We’ll announce the hanging date soon—come join us!
The Celebration:
With Mr.His Hop on the 1s and 2s ! Our Christian Hip Hop concert lit up the night! Dizzy Liv, Repent, Lamont, Jamez, and Corey Binks blessed the mic with powerful beats, rhymes, and the gospel message. Youth and young adults filled the stage with dance, praise, and joy. We also raffled prizes throughout the night, keeping the excitement high!
A big thank-you to everyone who came, volunteered, donated, and prayed for this event. We couldn’t have done it without you.
