What an AMAZING time we had at the Orange Elephant Christmas Event on December 23rd! The East Las Vegas Library was buzzing with excitement as we pulled up an hour early with our 20-ft U-Haul truck loaded to the brim with toys, gifts, and bikes to bless our community!
Mrz. His Hop led the charge like a true champion, guiding everyone to start unpacking and prepping for the big event. Soon, volunteers from Fresh Wind Community Church arrived, eager and ready to help. As the library doors opened, Mr. His Hop drove the U-Haul to the front, and it was all hands on deck! Moms, dads, brothers, sisters—everyone pitched in, and the unity was truly heartwarming.
Once the truck was unloaded, we organized the gifts by age groups—talk about a pro setup! Mr. His Hop zipped off for some last-minute errands but came back just in time for the sound check. With the DJ booth up and running, Big Words tested the mic and got everything sounding crisp. 🎤
Then, the fun began! E.O.P. (Expressions of Praise) wowed the crowd with their powerful dance and praise mime—it was electric! 🔥 Our MC for the night, Hope Cotton, kept the energy high and the crowd hyped with her vibrant personality. The members of Fresh Wind Church delivered spoken word performances that touched hearts and lifted spirits.
Mrz. His Hop brought the Orange Elephant Games to life, and the room was filled with laughter as people danced and popped balloons to win prizes. The energy was contagious!
We saw multiple app downloads as participants jumped into our live chat to compete for even more prizes, including a free haircut (yes, it’s still active—so log in and follow the instructions for a chance to win!).
Special shoutout to Apostle Paul, who showed love to the crowd, and Pastor Will, who closed the night with an age-appropriate altar call. His message touched young hearts and moved families. We witnessed numerous confessions of faith in Jesus Christ, which is the heartbeat of everything we do.
This isn’t about fame or fortune—it’s about Jesus. He’s the reason we do this, and seeing lives changed is our greatest reward.
