We are excited to share the incredible impact His Hop Nation has made in the community over the past few days through two remarkable events.
Chaparral High School Outreach
Our first event took place at Chaparral High School, where we teamed up with the amazing NBA chaplains, the renowned Kingdom music group, various NBA professional basketball players, the renowned dunk team, and the most popular mascot in the NBA, the Gorilla. This community outreach was particularly special for Mr. His Hop, as he had the chance to return to his old high school, where he first heard the gospel of Christ and was saved.
Mr. His Hop reminisced about his days at Chaparral High School, recalling how he used to sit in the classroom, dreaming of ways to reach his generation. It was a full circle moment for him to now be able to sit in those same hallways with His Hop Radio podcast, interviewing professional athletes who share a strong faith in our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
The event was a tremendous blessing to the community and to Mr. His Hop personally. It was heartwarming to watch his family enjoy the festivities. Over 3,000 bags of groceries, backpacks, and shoes were distributed to the community. The event featured great music, an outstanding performance by the dunk team, and a powerful message inviting people to receive Christ. The response was overwhelming, with many people coming forward to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Juvenile Detention Center Outreach
The following Tuesday, we took the same incredible team to the Juvenile Detention Center for another impactful event. This setting was more intimate, allowing us to get up close and personal with the incarcerated youth. As you know, the mission of His Hop Nation is to reach at-risk youth in our community.
The event featured powerful testimonies from NBA players, inspiring music by the Kingdom music group, and Mr. and Mrs. His Hop actively involved, with Mr. His Hop on the ones and twos. It was a great event that left a positive impact on the youth and the community.
