PROVERBS 1: 26-29

26 I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when your terror comes,

27 When your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.

28 “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.

29 Because they hated knowledge
And did not choose the fear of the Lord,

We don't like to think about this side of God. I can't imagine God looking at people in distress and laughing at them.

Think of all the times God has tried to correct us. Think about every sermon we heard, think about every time we heard about Jesus.

The day will come when people won't be able to find  God.

Trust me the time is coming when people will seek God. He will be the most sought-after being in the universe. But they won't find Him.

I remember the old saying " seek the Lord while He may be found ".

This is a wake-up call for me, This lets me know that if I don't respond to God's correction I would lose out on blessings & opportunities.

When correction from God comes our way wisdom tells us to respond quickly!

Let's seek Him now before it is too late!
