The Doctrine of Salvation
This is an especially important doctrine in Christianity. We cannot afford to get this wrong. The 1st thing we must understand as humans is that God has Charged us, and He will have his day in court.
The Bible tells us that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. The word sin means- missing the mark. We have missed the mark of God's perfection.
Now I need to explain something that needs to be understood. It's not OK to miss this mark at all.
The Bible tells us that the wages of sin (missing the mark) is death. This does not mean that we will stop existing death is separation.
If we die in our sins, we will be eternally separated from God. Trust me, we do not want this.
God is good If we separate from God, we will also separate from all His goodness. That will leave us with absolute evil.
Think about what we enjoy daily. To separate from God means we will never hear the birds again, never walk in a park, and never see our loved ones.
In fact, that only leads to one place to go, it is called hell. Where the Goodness of God is absit, it is a place of God's absolute Rage.
The good news is that God sent his only be gotten son Jesus Christ to die on the cross and pay the death penalty so that you can be pardoned.
It is only through the death of Jesus that we can receive salvation.
Not only did he die but he rose again on the 3rd day & has given us victory over death in hell. We can now receive justification and forgiveness do the mighty name of Jesus.
